IT Infrastructure Manager – Security and Infrastructure   Do you have the knowledge and skills to lead strategically on IT Infrastructure and IT security? Working as a key part of the IT Leadership team, this role is responsible for developing the strategic direction & services to enable the business to function securely & resiliently. Core responsibilities include Infrastructure architecture and the leadership & development of the technical infrastructure team Responsibility for growing the cybersecurity programme and evolving the Group’s transition to a mature secure and operational robust environment. Day to day services delivery Ensuring that the IT strategy for infrastructure and security requirements supports the business in term of growth and strategy. Proposing a strategy for information security and IT infrastructure technologies\services. Implementing and overseeing the deployment of information security and IT infrastructure technologies. Developing and implementing business continuity plans. Day to day service delivery, infrastructure architecture & operational excellence improvement programme. Strong strategic & tactical leadership to drive all programmes, including leadership development of team. Driving change projects and building new IT capabilities. Complying with any necessary regulations and compliance requirements. Security Dedicated responsibilities to ensure security has the necessary business credence & governance. Security best practice, threat intelligence, and incident response. An influential voice in security in the support of: Technology & infrastructure decisions Enterprise risk management Empowering all of IT in the delivery of security operational excellence. Business engagement Leading our business through change in support of the security programme Driving a continuing programme of engagement to ensure everyone in our company is part of our cybersecurity defence. Accreditation implementation programmes, attainment & ongoing testing\compliance. Devising IT solutions to minimise the risk of cyber-attacks. What skills and experience do you need? Whilst a recognised IT Security accreditation would be nice, evidence of working and knowledge in that area would suffice as long as it can be evidenced. In depth knowledge and ability to architect Infrastructure solutions based upon Microsoft technologies. A strong focus on service to your business colleagues together with a natural ability to present solutions to senior business executives. Degree level qualifications or equivalent. Appropriate industry-recognised security qualifications or equivalent.   The personal strengths you need to bring with you Understanding of business needs and the ability to support business leaders. Security focus Strong technical knowledge and capability in the implementation and configuration of security and IT systems. Strong planning and project management capability. Ability to manage & transform a complex technical infrastructure landscape. Ability to prepare and manage budgets and investments. Strong communication skills to communicate with people at different levels within the business.   What is in it for you? The Network Security Engineer is responsible to ensure a robust and secure IT environment is maintained through appropriate administration and development as part of the Global IT Security Group. Responsibilities of the role include: Maintain the dedicated networks for production & security systems as part of a global team. Perform diagnostics & analysis of firewalls, routers, switches and associated systems to ensure maximum system reliability & security Maintain and manage Splunk and Splunk ES environments Monitor and maintain technical infrastructure & network traffic to optimize security, performance and efficiency Configuration of firewalls, switches and routers as appropriate Monitor and maintain SD-WAN connectivity between sites Manage PKI distribution and issue/revoke certificates Develop regular penetration testing plan Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and propose/implement mitigating solutions Strong Network Protocol Knowledge Packet Capture and Analysis Ability to feed threat intel and vulnerability information to the larger IT team Management of a PKI solution · Working Experience with one or more of the following or similar: Palo Alto (PANOS/Panorama) Cisco (IOS/SourceFire/ISE/WLC/PI) Tripwire/Wazuh/OSSEC Qualys/Nessus Splunk/Splunk Enterprise Security As the successful candidate for this role, you should have strong critical information seeking and analytical skills. You will be appropriately qualified with a minimum of 5 years commercial experience. This is not a starter role, you need to be able to demonstrate how you have delivered the majority of the requirements above. What are we offering in return?
