Must haves

  • Strong OO design knowledge.

  • 5 years+ professional experience with the following C#, ASP.NET, CSS, JavaScript, T-SQL.
  • 2 years+ professional experience with the following HTML5, MVC, Angular, EF.
  • Integration of web APIs - REST/JSON/XML.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with various DBMS.
  • Proven work experience in an agile environment (Scrum).
  • Strong knowledge of version control and task tracking systems.
  • 5+ years commercial experience.
  • Team player.
  • Comfortable with collective code ownership and pair programming.
  • Creative problem solver and able to think out-side the box.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
     

Desirable

  • SSRS / Crystal Reports Experience

C# Developer - Preferably with some level of DBA skills

Salary dependent on experience

A Preston based company are looking for a good Developer (C#.NET/SQL) who has a great understanding of database workloads / schema / table configuration. Whilst this is a Developer role, any DBA knowledge / skills will be a distinct advantage.

 Ideally you should have at least 5 years C# commercial experience working with tools such as TFS in controlled release cycles. Any experience of using containers for test / release control would be beneficial but not essential.

 The role is based with a small team and is an exciting opportunity to influence and lead development practices. The ideal candidate will be technology inquisitive and have a broad knowledge of languages and techniques and know how to influence management in the implementation of tools and techniques that will add to the team.
